Karisma's TV incarnation
AFTER YEARS of sashaying in Bollywood blockbusters, Karisma Kapoor has finally made her way to the small screen. First seen as SABe TV's brand ambassador, she will now be seen in "Karishma: The Miracles of Destiny" on Sahara TV, in which she plays a double role _ grandmother and granddaughter. The journey of a woman from the ages of 22 till 67, the multi-track serial will also star Sanjay Kapoor, Arbaz Khan, Arshad Warsi, Jugal Hansraj, Sheeba, Apoorva Agnihotri, Vijay Raj, Pawan Malhotra, Salil Ankola, Reshma Seth and Reshma Modi.
The other big screen names associated with the serial are music director Anu Malik and lyricist Javed Akhtar. Directed by Anurag Basu and written by Sachin Bhowmick, "Karishma: The Miracles of Destiny", will be aired at prime time five times a week.
